Canton allows the relevant asset movements and execution conditions to be handled atomically on-ledger. ## Canton-native assets Meriq is designed around assets that already exist on Canton rather than creating wrapped Meriq-specific representations for trading. ## Privacy Professional liquidity providers do not necessarily want their complete inventory, strategy or trading activity exposed publicly. Canton's selective-visibility model allows transaction information to be shared with the parties that need it without requiring every part of the activity to be visible to the entire network. ## One network, different participants Canton brings issuers, financial applications, market makers and users onto a common interoperable network.
