# Welcome to Meriq

Meriq is building liquidity infrastructure for swaps between Canton-native assets.

We are focused on a simple problem: traders should get the best available executable price, while market makers should be able to compete for that flow without giving up control of their inventory, pricing or risk.

Meriq brings independent market makers together, routes each trade to the best available liquidity, and settles it atomically on Canton.
